Sometimes you need to shut out all the noise, all the clutter and conversation and convention and chaos, and retreat deep, deep, deep into your own world. You can do this anywhere – on a tube, in your bedroom, at Bucks Palace – because the kingdom’s always there available, in your head. No-one can fuck with you here, and no-one can impregnate you, save for chosen guest Arch M, aka London’s Corey Reid. His tremulous, slowcore murmurs are the chosen currency: a lo-fi montage of voices, beats and instruments, electronica, folk and reverb rock that’s loosely – or not at all – equivalent to Memory Tapes on tranqs.
thisisoffset has a download link for Arch M’s previous seven-track cassette, plus word of a debut 12″ out in 2010.
