A few posts back I mentioned (gulp) Christmas. Subsequently, it seems that Marthas & Arthurs, who I gushed about before here, have been overcome by Yuletide spirit, as they’re giving away their new EP, Apes in Aeroplanes, for free. It’s a beguiling record of soaring shoegaze that gets better with each listen, a Sunday evening singalong doused in melancholy, mothballs and magic. A track from it is below.
