Gaoler’s Daughter

According to yesterday’s Evening Standard, guitar bands are very uncool right now.  I’m not sure that’s true; if it is, though, it means they’ll be the height of cool in two years’ time.  But I hope that’s not true of emerging London act Gaoler’s Daughter: their terrific songs - some broad and brooding (new single St. Peter), some more jaunty (last year’s Angry Eyes) - despite adultation right now.
